Annual Events The Corona Art Association sponsors several major art shows throughout the year which are open to members and non-members. The following shows are located at our Art House Gallery within Corona Heritage Park:
The association also celebrates the annual winner of the Artist of the Year competition by installing a one-person show for the winner the following year.
The Art House Gallery has continuous exhibits all year long. In between the competitive shows we offer a variety of themed shows open to members and non-members, as well as student and scholarship finalist shows and member shows. For our calendar of shows for 2008-2009 please click here or contact members of our show committee if you have additional questions. The association also participates annually in the Outdoor Lemon Festival at Corona City Hall the first Sunday in October and participates in the Outdoor Antique Faire at Heritage Park in early June. In recent months we have also had the opportunity to participate in events and exhibits hosted at Dos Lagos, in Riverside at the Riverside Art Museum, at Corona City Hall, at Corona Public Library and at Corona Regional Medical Center. We hope to expand the participation by our members and increase the number of venues where we exhibit work and demonstrate art activities. The gallery is open to the public free of charge. The gallery is staffed by volunteers and is open Thursday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. It is also open several Saturday evenings in the summer from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and during special events and meetings. For complete entry rules click here. If you have any questions please check with a CAA show committee member. Dates and information are also printed in the association newsletters.
