Chinese Brush Painting Workshop with Catherina Chu

We are offering a special opportunity for members and non-members to try their hand at Chinese Brush Painting in a casual workshop setting at the Art House on Saturday June 28 in the afternoon starting at 1:00 p.m.  Catherine Chu is an outstanding artist with many years of experience in Chinese Brush Painting.  She will provide participants with all the materials needed plus she will provide simple instruction to help you enjoy this historic cultural artform.  No prior experience needed.

Special rate for this workshop--only $35 for members, $40 for non-members, all materials provided.  In addition, one of our lucky participants will win a beautiful instructional book of Chinese Brush Painting.

We started offering workshops again at our Art House Gallery in the summer of 2007.  We have adequate space for up to 20 participants depending on the type of workshop offered.  If you are interested in any of the workshops, or if you are an artist that would like to provide a workshop, please contact our program coordinator, by sending an e-mail.

Riverside Art Museum is offering a series of free workshops to visual artists and writers starting in February so check their website for more information.

Demonstrations are presented by artists at each of the monthly general meetings the second Tuesday of the month starting at 7 p.m.  Scheduled demos for the 2008 season include:
